Potato halving and quartering machine DMA

The DMA-90 has the capability to cut potatoes into 2, 4 or 8 pieces. The product must be supplied in doses.

The machine has a stable frame, aligning rollers, and a cutting section with a centring and knife block. For equal and optimal filling of the potatoes, the machine is set up with a vibration chute. The machine has a frequency drive system.

The drive mechanism consists of rotating aligning rollers, which are driven from both sides of the machine on a conveyor chain.

The self-aligning rollers can facilitate 4 aligned products across the width of the roller bed. Once the potatoes have been positioned exactly at the centre of the knives by the centring unit, they are taken to the cutting section where 2 products are cut simultaneously.

The left knife block can have different knives than the one used on the right. The knife block can halve the product on one track of the machine and produce 4 or 8 segments on the other two tracks.

Product specification

The DMA-90 type potato halving and quartering machine has been designed for cutting potatoes into 2, 4 or 8 pieces with a diameter between 25 and 80 mm and a maximum length of 120 mm. The aiming system works from a diameter of 40 mm or more.

Capacity

The capacity of the potato halving and quartering machine is 32,000 potatoes per hour when filling by 70%. In relation to 80 gram potatoes, the capacity is 2,500 kg per hour.
