Addition to the board: Ruud Schreurs new technical director
Sormac B.V. has experienced strong growth in both its range of products and the number of employees. This growth is expected to continue in the years ahead. The company has therefore decided to expand the number of board members. As of 1 January 2020, Ruud Schreurs has been appointed technical director.
Ruud Schreurs has gained a plenty of experience in various roles at Sormac, particularly in the last position he held as manager engineering / R&D. “The choice to appoint Ruud was a logical step for the ever-expanding Sormac and is motivated in part by his technical knowledge, powerful personality and experience,” according to managing director Bert Haffmans.
The current board comprising managing director and owner Bert Haffmans, sales director Roy Lemmen and financial director Roel van Essen is now being completed with Ruud Schreurs as technical director. The appointment ensures that all specific operating areas have balanced representation in the board
After graduating cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Fontys Hogeschool in Venlo, Ruud Schreurs has been employed by Sormac since February 2011, where his career has progressed from the role of engineer to manager engineering / R&D.
Sormac is convinced that this step creates a robust foundation for further growth.
