New belt slicer

During the Fruit Logistica, Sormac presented its improved smaller-segment vegetable-processing machines. These machines have been developed further in terms of technology, ergonomics and hygiene; they are more robust and manufactured exclusively from high-quality materials. The machines may be used as a stand-alone machine, but may also be combined to form a complete processing line.

Belt slicers BSM-150 and BSM-150/L

This belt slicer, having a capacity of up to 1,765 lbs per hour, is capable of processing a wide variety of vegetables to a maximum width of 5.9 ins and with a maximum feed-through height of 5.11 ins. The belt slicer is available in two versions: the standard belt slicer, type BSM-150 (belt length of 59.05 ins) and a longer version, BSM-150/L (belt length of 90.55 ins).

  • The integrated touch screen that is standard on the belt slicers is even more user-friendly and watertight. Another new feature is the selection of pre-programmed recipes or a manual mode. The recipes may also simply be adjusted via the touch screen.
  • All plastic used is blue, food-safe and is supplied with a certificate.
  • A new and more hygienic design, without level surfaces and easy to clean.
  • Provided with a window-mounted using hygienic spacers.
